My name is Banu Görgün. I am a decision-making architect, an external facilitator and a sparring partner for leaders under pressure.
I grew up in places where women weren’t expected. The cockpit. The boardroom. Crisis meetings. I’ve stopped having to explain myself.
WHAT SHAPES ME
I have run a family business in the aviation and commercial sectors – with an international reach, government contracts, and responsibility for organisational and quality management in regulated, safety-critical environments.
Environments where ambiguity is not an option. Where the difference between a genuine decision and a mere choice between alternatives determines safety and impact.
As a trained pilot, I have internalised something that no management book will tell you: strategic uncertainty is not an obstacle. It is the moment when leadership begins.
Situational awareness. Clear accountability. No room for ambiguity. I bring this standard to every assignment.

Over 20 years of operational leadership experience. I have also been working in business consultancy since 2008.

My work combines a strategic perspective with practical implementation experience – gained in contexts where precision is a prerequisite, not a luxury.
I am certified in project management to PMI standards and as an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor – qualifications that do not stem from the classroom, but from practical experience with regulated systems.
My training to ICF standards sharpens my eye for what lies behind decisions and helps me maintain neutrality – without turning my work into coaching.
